Moving On Up

So lads, ladys, dames, gents, intersexes and those who are non of the aformentioned. I am moving in but two days, hence the lack of activity of late on this humble and as of yet undiscovered blog.
Many feelings are drizzling down through my ever ageing body, I shall of course be missing dear friends (check out model for memory 's blog he is a dandy of epic proportions), however there is of course something exciting about leaving the dull rut of the countryside for the viloent jolt of a city (yes I paraphrased and edited Virginia Woolf, she cant sue me as tragically a river took her).

At times like this I suggest deep reminscence and lots of wine, and as the later is out of stock I shall leave you with my fondest memory untill a new Cabernet Sauvignion graces my desk.

I was walking down a street with some close friends, talking and joking, the sunlight beating down and many a cigarette passing our lips. As I looked about, falling uncharacteristically silent, I realised that this was happiness. Of course I hated the town, the neanderthals who inhabit and the vaccum which seems to destroy any culture, but good people and a sense of humour make a homes in the oddest and most hostile of enviroments.

So when I say I shall miss my home, tis not the place, nor the property, it is the people that I shall be homesick for.

Fauxmosexuality

This ones gonna be a rant....you have been warned. (disclaimer any offence caused in this blog will not make the blogger liable...you decided to read it)

Sorry Im a smidglet angry, as you may or may not know this blogger is of the Sapphic persuasion, and I have no issues with any person of any sexuality....except for the Katy Perry Brand straight girl gone 'bi'. Bicuriosity is fine, do what you will as long as no one gets hurt. However dont take advantage of our good gay brothers and sisters by pretending you could be in an emotionally involved same sex relationship when all you want is a quick rumble in the jungle...an experiment with the same sex 'just to see'.

This is dishonest, and morally wrong. No one should ever lead anyone on, but recently ive noticed an increase, especially in girls of the string of sex with a gay person as some sort of science experiment, the gay girl getting attached then being told 'sorry i like sleeping with you but, ya know...im not like that'


ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Its just plain not right, and having comforted many friends who have fallen victim to the new 'I Kissed A Girl Aren't I So Daring and Out There' culture, and having nearly been suckered in myself, it really has left me vexed.

I believe in sexual fluidity, if you wanna experiment do it, but make sure the other party is aware its nothing more than that, that you have no intent in becoming emotionally involved....otherwise youre just being selfish and cruel...

P.s. Earl Devon, who owns Powderham Castle near Exeter, its really not cool to refuse same sex couples to celebrate their union there, say homosexuality offends you as a Christian, but then for businesses sake say we're welcome to visit and spend out pink pounds there as long as we're not too overtly gay...fuck you. BOYCOTT HIM.

ness, stace and the series of unfortunate events

Been an odd couple of days with more highs and lows than a coke addicted hooker.

So yes, I had a very pleasant few night, one with my dear friend (check out his blog ModelForMemory) but of late I have realised that fate is a cruel mistress. I was supposed to escort my little sister to a *shudder* Saturdays concert, as my parental units did not wish to, luckily her friend is going instead. This left me with a free house of sorts, just my little brother who isnt too severe a pain in the backside.
So I thought fabulous, free house = friends + booze and the LIVING ROOM! But no....I had precisely 3 hours to arrange something and now...my evening is lacking in as much excitement as Legoland.
- insert- I had the misfortune to visit Legoland, imagine a cornucopia of sweat, e - number filled children screaming, while their irrate parents push and shove, and generally show off a lack of intellect, and there is one DESIGNATED (facists) smoking area in the whole park -_-.

so yes, why is a good thing always twisted into irratating missed oppurtunity?!?

No Pain No Gain

So I have finally given in and decided to scibble down my many thoughts and musings on the world wide web.
Firstly the name, Edelweiss Pirates, comes from a group during WW2 who refused to join the Hitler Youth and generally rebelled against the Third Reich in small protests. They were young heros who stood up where many adults failed, and have my undying respect.
Today was a dark day, I am moving away from my entire life to a city hours away, and so when people view the house the Matriach tends to get testy...mainly with myself.
My dear bohemian friend (check him out ModelForMemory) and I had a glorious night watching amazing films of high quality and drinking wine (what else). But oh how today was the storm AFTER the quiet.
Anyway I believe I shall be disciplined with this blog so check back for more musings (hopefully more intriguing) at a later date yet to specified.
